Double acting hydraulic cylinders
Hydraulic cylinders with double acting operation
Hydraulic cylinders with double acting operation (double-acting hydraulic cylinders) have two opposite facing piston surfaces that control the operation of the force of the hydraulic liquid, i.e. usually a special hydraulic oil that enables two active moving directions. The hydraulic energy is converted through the hydraulic liquid into the mechanical energy for the movement of the piston. The piston usually have separate connections that enable active movement in both directions. The force is thus applied in both directions and the structure of this hydraulic cylinder is very simple.
This type of cylinder with linear movement is especially suitable for use in presses and chippers, for opening and closing drawers and for all types of raising and lowering devices. The piston rod is attached to the piston in this structure. The piston can move faster if it has a smaller surface and slower if its surface is larger. This hydraulic cylinder is used for many types of construction machinery.

We also manufacture ISO cylinders according to the ISO 6020-1, ISO 6020-2, ISO 6020-3 and ISO 6022 standards. All cylinders manufactured according to these standards have a unified installation measurement according to the stroke so that when you replace the manufacturer, you do not have to change the machine construction in which the cylinder is installed.

Hydraulic cylinders with double-acting operation are divided into differential and synchronous types.
DIFFERENTIAL HYDRAULIC CYLINDER
A differential cylinder or double-acting cylinder is the most common type of cylinder with two chambers. Double-acting cylinders apply strokes in both directions, whereby the pushing force exceeds the pulling force in the amount of the surface area ratio.
SYNCHRONOUS HYDRAULIC CYLINDER
Synchronous cylinder or double-acting hydraulic cylinders with double rod ends. This type of cylinder is equipped with a piston rod on both sides of the piston. The volume in both pressure chambers always remain the same and so does the entry and exit velocity of the cylinder.
Since this is the most common type of hydraulic cylinder, our company is the right choice for you, as we can produce any kind of special execution of cylinders that is fully compliant with your expectations and desires. Our development constantly follows the newest innovations in the field of development and component technology. This group of complex hydraulic cylinders include:
Hydraulic cylinders ISO 6020 -1,
Hydraulic cylinders ISO 6020 -2,
Hydraulic cylinders ISO 6022,
Hydraulic cylinders for high temperatures,
Hydraulic cylinders with measuring battens,
Hydraulic cylinders with inductive switches,
Hydraulic cylinders for nautics,
“Rotary” hydraulic cylinders.
We execute the procedures in compliance with ISO certificate 6020-1:2007, which means that our production is compliant with a clearly prescribed workflow for as high quality and safety as possible of final products.
ISO HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS
ISO cylinders are manufactured according to the following standards: ISO 6020-1, ISO 6020-2, ISO 6020-3 and ISO 6022. All cylinders manufactured according to these standards have a unified installation measurement according to the stroke so that when you replace the manufacturer you do not have to change the machine construction in which the cylinder is installed. Cylinders are primarily intended for the automatisation of work processes (robots, processing machines and other servo-hydraulic drives), and they are also the best solution for systems where a simple exchangeability of components is required since the cylinders are designed modularly. When designing them, we paid special attention to simple servicing without special tools that makes servicing faster and more economic.
Seals in cylinders are chosen in compliance with the following standards: ISO 6195, ISO 6547, ISO 3601, ISO 3602, ISO 3601-4, ISO 7425-1 and ISO 7425-2, which provides you with independence from seal manufacturers. We also offer seals for operating environments with higher temperatures. All manufactured cylinders are tested in compliance with ISO standard 10100:2001, which provides for repeatable quality.
Cylinders designed according to standards ISO 6020-1, ISO 6020-2 and ISO 6020-3 have an operating pressure of 160 bars and their maximum pressure is 250 bars. Cylinders designed according to ISO standard 6022 have an operating pressure of 250 bars and their maximum pressure is 375 bars. It enables final damping as well. It is also possible to order ISO cylinders that are designed in compliance with your requirements (various dimensions, various speeds of the cylinder, added measuring batten or final switches).
